34th International Technical Meeting
on Air Pollution Modelling and its Application

4-8 May, 2015,
Montpellier, France.

Conference Location

The conference took place in Montpellier at LE CORUM Congress Center

Montpellier is a sunny Mediterranean city, in the heart of a region with seven wonders listed as UNESCO World Heritages sites. Its School of Medicine is the oldest in the world that still exists today and hosted Nostradamus and François Rabelais. A former medieval city, rich with narrow streets and numerous medieval remains, Montpellier today is a mecca of modern architecture. The most famous international designers/architects have left their mark in projects around the city, including next generation trams signed by Christian Lacroix, the City Hall designed by Jean Nouvel and the departmental archives building designed by Zaha Hadid.

Montpellier is an artistic city with the comedy opera house, the Fabre museum exhibiting nearly 800 works of art (paintings from 16th to 18th century). Montpellier's central square, known as l'Oeuf (the Egg) because of its original oval shape, is one of the largest pedestrian areas in Europe.

Only 20 minutes from the beach and surrounded by countryside, vineyards and lakes, sitting at one of the many outdoor cafes is easy thanks to over 300 days of sunshine per year.
